And scaling your income. And today we are going to tackle something big and that is this How to skyrocket your email list. This is one of the most common questions I get is, Jonathan, how do I grow an email list? How do I build an email list? And in today's chapter, I'm gonna share with you 12 places to share. A lead magnet after you've created it. So you're gonna take a single lead magnet that you've created, and there's 12 places that you can share it to build your list. So without further ado, let's jump right into it.

Speaker 10:

Chapter five, the Lead Magnet launchpad skyrocket your email list. In November, 2011, I published a blog post on my fairly new blog, simple Life Habits, the topic of the blog post, the Power of Taking real breaks to stay motivated and creative throughout the day. Little did I know that this simple post would lead to a pivotal moment in my blogging journey. A harsh lesson in missed opportunities. A few days after publishing, I checked my Google Analytics account and was shocked. My traffic had increased tenfold, overnight, and thousands of views were pouring in daily, but I had no idea where they came from. I found something spectacular after some digging. A writer at Lifehacker, a popular site, had featured my blog post and linked to my site. It was a blogger's dream come true or so I thought. You see in my excitement to create content, I had made a colossal mistake. I hadn't set up any way for these thousands of new visitors to join an email list, a flood of potential long-term readers visited my site for several days only to leave without a trace. Had I had a lead magnet in a landing page in place, I could have easily captured hundreds, if not thousands, of new email subscribers. This experience taught me a valuable lesson. Traffic alone doesn't build a business. It's the leads on an email list that can nurture and grow your audience for years to come. We're dedicating this chapter to maximizing your lead magnet exposure for rapid list growth. We'll explore strategies for placing your lead magnet on multiple platforms. You'll learn how to transform every piece of content. A blog post, podcast episode, or social media update into an opportunity to grow your email list. Remember, an email list is more than just a collection of addresses. It's a direct line to your most engaged audience. It's a way to build relationships, and it's the foundation of a sustainable online business. By the end of this chapter, you'll have the tools and strategies to turn casual visitors into loyal subscribers. This will set the stage for long-term success in your digital efforts. Let's dive in and ensure you never miss an opportunity to grow your most valuable asset. Your email list, common pitfalls in list building, each visitor to your site is a potential gold mine, but are you treating them that way? Most folks underestimate the value of a single visitor. They think, oh, it's just one person. But what if that one person becomes your biggest fan, your most vocal advocate, your next big client, and let's talk about those unexpected traffic surges. They're like winning the lottery, right? Wrong. If you're not prepared, they're more like finding a briefcase full of cash and having no pockets, all that potential gone in a flash. Why traditional approaches fall short? You've got a killer website. Great content, steady traffic. So why isn't your business growing like wildfire? Here's the harsh truth. One-time visitors are like speed dating. You get a quick hello, maybe a bit of small talk, and then poof, they're gone. How are you supposed to build a relationship with someone who's already out the door? Think about it. How many times have you stumbled across a fantastic blog post thought, wow, I need to remember this site, and never returned. That's the reality for most of your visitors. Without a way to stay connected, you're losing opportunities for long-term engagement faster than a melting ice cream cone on a hot summer day. But here's the real kicker. Even if you're getting tons of traffic, if you can't convert that into a growing email list, you're leaving money on the table. It's like having a store full of window shoppers, but no way to tell them about your sales, all that potential business growth slipping through your fingers like sand. So what's the solution? How do we turn these pitfalls into stepping stones? Stick around. We're about to flip the script on traditional list building and show you how to turn every piece of content into a lead generating powerhouse. The everywhere, all at once. Strategy every wished you could clone yourself to be in multiple places at once. Chatting up potential subscribers left and right with the everywhere. All at once. You're fishing one rod, one spot. You can only catch one fish at a time. Our method, it's like casting a net across the entire lake. More lines in the water mean more fish on the hook. In this case, more eyeballs on your lead magnet mean more names on your list. And here's the kicker. It's not just about quantity. You're catching people at various stages of their journey by popping up in different contexts. Someone who ignores your tweet might devour your blog post. A podcast listener who skips the show notes might click on your YouTube description. You're creating multiple touchpoints and multiple chances to convert.
